The Cake Room was conceived by brothers Richard and Philip Skelton. Their long family tradition as independent bakers, combined with a passion for beautiful cake design, led them to create the finest celebration cakes in East Yorkshire.
Located at 4 The Square in Hessle, we specialise in celebration cakes, novelty cakes, handmade chocolates, and our beloved Skeltons bakery range.

Our History
Long before The Cake Room, the Skelton family were already baking for Hessle — from the original Skeltons & Son bakery vans to the town's beloved Corner House shop. That family tradition of independent baking is still at the heart of everything we make today.
