Lambeth Cake: Our signature layered piping style — bands of shell piping built up in your chosen colours, just like our standard birthday cakes. Extra decorations such as bows, edible balls, or additional piped detail can be added — just mention what you'd like in the Additional Information field below. The more piping and detail added, the higher the extra charge, and this scales with the size of cake.

Number * Enter the number(s) you'd like on the cake, e.g. "21" or "4 & 6" for a joint birthday. Each digit is an extra £1 — e.g. "17" is £2 extra, "5" is £1 extra.

Please note: Gel piped designs are hand-piped from a simple image as a flat-coloured outline — like the example below. Please choose a simple, single-subject image with bold outlines and only a few flat colours, e.g. a cartoon character (Mickey Mouse, Peppa Pig), a club badge, an emoji, or clip art — not a detailed photo, as fine detail and busy backgrounds can't be piped accurately. If you're not sure your image will work, give us a call and we'll check before you order. This style also takes longer to make, so please allow extra time when choosing your collection date.

Gel Outline Colour Most gel piped designs use a black outline — leave blank for black, or tell us if you'd like a different colour.

Wording on Cake For Number Cakes and similar designs, the greeting (e.g. "Happy Birthday" or "Happy 10th Anniversary") is always piped at the top, with the name piped at the bottom.
