We are based in Hessle, East Yorkshire, and all orders are collection only from our shop at 4 The Square, Hessle, HU13 0AA. We do not currently offer delivery.
We recommend ordering custom and celebration cakes as far in advance as possible, particularly around busy periods such as Christmas and other seasonal occasions. Simpler designs can sometimes be accommodated at shorter notice depending on how busy we are that week — please call us on 01482 643353 to check availability before placing an online order if your date is close.
Custom cakes, counter cakes, bakery items and sprinkle cakes can all be ordered directly through our website. Simply choose the relevant order page, fill in the details of what you'd like, and submit — we'll be in touch to confirm everything with you.
Alternatively, you're welcome to order in person at the shop or over the phone.
A 25% deposit is required to secure a custom cake order, with the remaining balance due in full on collection. We'll be in touch after you submit your order online to arrange payment of your deposit.
We'll confirm your collection date and approximate time when we get in touch about your order. Our opening hours are Monday–Saturday, 9am–4pm.
If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible on 01482 643353 or hello@thecakeroom.co.uk — we'll do our best to accommodate changes where we can, though this may not always be possible close to your collection date given the personalised nature of our cakes.
